The shading is very rough because it's hard to shade in a little sketchbook. I think I might make another, bigger one.

This is a pen sketch, and one of the really awesome ones. I actually got the color from my mind because the picture was greyscale, which means that the color pallette is much simpler;only red, black, and brown pens.

This is a king crab leg. I took a photograph before eating it and then drew the picture from that.

That is "and other" on top and on bottom is a cartoon character that I randomly created but didn't finish.

As this is a ballpoint pen AND OTHER blog, I've decided to put the and other into practice. I just got a cord for my coolpix camera, so these are all taken from that.

The one at top is very detailed. I drew the people in the background and even did their faces. The portrait is a sketch of an old painting of someone in a kind of monk hood thing. I am beginning to experiment with very colorful pictures of nothing in particular;abstracts I guess. The last is a study of an aloe vera plant I am holding a cross section in the best one but these fuzzy pictures do not show it in it's true glory.

These are from this week. First three for today. The one by the picture of my little brother is done from memory of seeing a guy in a trench coat a week or two ago. I didn't bother with the sequins on his collar and cuffs much but I did them a little. The one of my brother(and my dad, actually)is a free hand sketch so not too good. The portrait style picture up top was done from a face I noticed in one of my photographs. The picture on the page by it is of the Moroni statue at the top of a temple.

This is a new coptic stitch notebook I made yesterday. It will probably become my new sketchbook at some time.

The broken heart type shape is the Fibonacci sequence reflected across a y axis. I saw the deer dying on the side of the road at a camping trip.

I usually use all of these colors and still need at least one more.

These are my most important skin colors. The pen in the back is orange, not yellow but I really need to get a yellow one.

This was drawn for a contest with one of my friends. Maybe I'll be able to get a picture of his drawing. This is a belgian blue, by the way.

Two sketches that will probably never get more developed than they already are. The rabbit was actually done in color, just very faint earth tones mostly. I took the photograph of it at a golf course.

Some color finally and a pair of boxers. The first picture, the one with the swimmer was made with almost all my colors. Some of the ones in her skin are green orange, brown, pink and blue and in fact those are the colors that make up most of it.
